We are in Portland for Jon's LAST section of National Boards. Heather Ward, our amazingly talented friend, took some pictures for us while we were here. Here is her website for a sneak preview.

Jon's Phone
Jon got some of the pictures off of his phone and I wanted to blog them because they are too cute!

We went to the park Friday and Jarom got his first ride in a big swing! He loved it!

On Jayci's birthday we met Jon for lunch and went out to Mexican Food. They held the sombrero over her head to sing to her becasue she wasn't sure about putting it on.

This is from the end of the summer, but I love it.

Jayci in a shopping cart. Sweet girl.

Pumpkin Cake
I love pumpkin cake. I don't like pumpkin pie, but I love pumpkin cake. Not only is it yummy and very moist, but it also has a lot less calories. We made it this weekend and the girls were eatting it like crazy. Jarom even got a taste and was screaming when we took it away from him. Anyway, this recipe is so easy and so good I had to share it. I hope you enjoy!
Pumpkin Cake
1 box Spice cake mix
1 can pumpkin
3/4 cup water
Mix dry cake mix, pumpkin, and water together. Bake in 9 by 13 pan at 350degrees for about 25-30 minutes.
Serve with fat free Cool Whip on top if desired!

Jordan's 4!
It was a birthday week! Jordan turned 4 on Saturday and we also went to a pumpkin patch on Saturday with some friends to celerbrate both the girl's birthdays. Jordan also started preschool last week and loves it!
Jordan's tutu
Jordan wanted Peanut Butter cookies instead of cake, which was nice since we just had cake for Jayci's birthday.
Jayci 2!
New Home
I guess it is about time to make a new post. We are now in Grants Pass where Jon is doing a preceptorship. We found a furnished house to rent so we didn't have to haul all of our stuff down here for just 3 months and we stored all of our stuff in a POD. Anyway we live in the mountains, or "forest" as Jordan calls it. We live about 10 miles outside Grants Pass and the deer live in our front yard. We have seen up to 7 at a time. We also have wild turkeys and Jon saw a fox one night!
