Non Camping Camping Trip

So we love to go camping. We were so excited to go this last weekend. Jon doesn't get out of the clinic until 1 pm on Saturday so we were going to go Saturday and Sunday night. So I spent all week getting all the food planned out and getting everything ready and figured out, remember we have 3 little kids! So anyway Jon got home and I had the van all loaded we head out to Oxbow Park were we love to camp and guess what, a lovely sign that says campgrounds full. Stinky! We thought that could happen but thought we would be ok by the way they don't take reservations. So we drove around a couple hours trying to find another campsite, no luck ALL FULL! So now we have our car loaded Jordan so excited to go camping and no place to go. We considered camping at home but Jon would sleep in his bed if we were home. So we did what we knew would make Jordan happy. We went home, dumped all our camping stuff in the front room grabbed some good clothes, and went to Aunt Jan's and Uncle Les's in Springfield. We all had a great time, but I am still depressed that camping didn't happen and now we will have to wait until next summer!
